The British company announced the completion of work on the construction of the first copies of the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation

The British company announced the completion of work on the construction of the first copies of the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation and the beginning of their delivery to customers. This coupe, now assembled on the patterns of 1960, will be part of the "souvenir" and impressively expensive set of two supercars in honor of the anniversary of the Studio Zagato.

Assemble coupe DB4 GT Zagato Continuation exclusively by hand, and it is clear that the production process takes many months. In total, Aston Martin intends to release only 19 such retro cars, but how many of them are already ready, is not yet reported. But one of the top managers of the company and the head of the Assembly process, Paul Spears, has already called The continuation program the most difficult project to date.

Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Continuation is equipped with a 380-horsepower engine and is sold exclusively in conjunction with the most, perhaps, modern sports car brand - DBS GT Zagato. This coupe received a completely original design compared to the standard DBS and 5.2-liter V12 with a return of 770 HP and 900 Nm of torque. To accelerate to 100 km / h, this supercar takes only 3.4 seconds.

Interestingly, the Assembly of the modern member of the anniversary Duo, the British did not even start, although buyers of 19 "souvenir" sets paid for both compartments at once. In Aston Martin are going to start to send out to customers the first "half" - vintage DB4 GT Zagato, and then take up the continuation of the project. It is expected that work on the retrocar will be completed by the end of this year, and the entire project will finish in another year.

Available duet of two "Astons" and in Russia, but at an incredible price even for this brand. Both anniversary four-wheel exclusive will cost Russian buyers 762 million rubles. Although, most likely, the word "will do" is better to use in the past tense, since, apparently, all 19 sets already have their owners.
