The SUV and pickup truck of the American brand so far exist only in the form of prototypes, but have earned the nickname "safes on wheels" for their angular design. But the firm declassified the so-called" beta prototypes", which can already be judged on the production models.

The new samples are called "an important milestone on the way to mass production" of the Bollinger line – most likely, this is what the electric SUV B1 and pickup B2 will look like, which can be bought. The firm doesn't speak about the prices yet, but published some technical characteristics.

The twin-engine powerplant – one for both models-develops 623 HP and 905 Nm of torque. It includes a 120-kilowatt battery, however, the power reserve of both Bollinger is also kept secret. It is only known that the maximum speed of SUVs will be 160 km / h, and the set of the first "hundred" they will take about 4.5 seconds. With this power, it would be possible, of course, and faster, but all the restrictions seem to be associated with the huge weight of "Bollinger". By the way, in the struggle for kilograms, the company decided to make the bodies of its models from aluminum.

Both models are promised best-in-class off-road capabilities. To implement them is expected due to the body geometry, two-stage transfer case with low range, a huge ground clearance of 380 mm and 250 mm of suspension articulation.

Payload and towing ability of an SUV and a pickup at the same identical: on to 2 360 kg, a – to 3.4 tonnes.

A lot of details about the Bollinger B1 and B2, which at one time was called the world's first electric road users, remains behind the scenes: the company promises more details in the coming months. It is possible that the date of commencement of production will be named.
