Bosch has developed its own power plant for the pram. It consists of two electric motors – one for each rear wheel, that is, all in an adult way. The impact of the installation is not called, but it is known that the charge of removable batteries, made on the same principle as on the working tool of the company, will last for about 15 kilometers. It will take about two hours to charge it.
At the same time, the power plant turned out to be also very smart. For example, it automatically starts to help the parent when driving on the rise or when driving on a rough road, and on the descent itself slows down the rotation of the wheels. It is noted that the braking system will turn on and if you release the handle of the stroller or if someone tries to steal an infant electric car.
In addition, the stroller can now communicate with the parent's smartphone via bluetooth, syncing with it using the app. Special software for gadgets will demonstrate, for example, the battery level and warn that it is time to connect it to the outlet. And the gadgets themselves can be recharged directly from the stroller.
Bosch has already tested the new product on live people and came to the conclusion that the additional electric drive significantly reduces physical stress on parents while walking with the baby. And it's not just an experiment: the firm is determined to bring innovation to market. This will happen early next year, and the partner of Bosch will be the Swedish company Emmaljunga. Maybe later it will be electric pushchairs and other manufacturers.
