Concepts are referred to as the Trail Attack, and Urban and built on similar principles. Each of them flaunts an unusual color scheme of the body, where bright shades highlight the key innovations, but the improvements are actually somewhat deeper.
For example, each crossover due to the suspension lift increased ground clearance by 50 mm - up to 234 mm, and in the regular all-wheel drive system implanted locking the Central differential.
Concepts got 17-inch wheels (Trail Attack-especially off-road, Urban-just spectacular), expedition trunks and additional light.
Curiously, the Kia Seltos X-Line Urban carries half as many additional headlights as its counterpart. The fact is that they are designed for different: if Trail Attack is focused on travel with a certain degree of extremity, then on the X-Line Urban you can safely climb into the most remote corners of the metropolis. Therefore, Trail Attack is also equipped with an elegant power bumper, in which the winch is hidden, and Urban is content with colored towing lugs.
At the same time, neither the interior of the Seltos nor its power plant were subjected to changes. The concepts are equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine with a return of 175 HP and 265 Nm of torque paired with a 7-speed robot: this engine will be the top for the crossover in the US market.
