Premium brand owned by Geely and actively using the achievements of Volvo, announced a new model-a spectacular cross-coupe, which will be released on the market under the designation 05. And one day it may appear in Russia.
The cross-coupe at number five is the fourth model of the brand, but, according to rumors, there will be no omissions in the line: the index 04 is allegedly already reserved for a certain hatch. And the model 05 was announced including in order to show some new design "chips".
For example, the crossover will be equipped with a new grille, and the" littered " rear racks, a distinctive feature of the body of the future novelty, will receive an extravagant lattice finish. The rest of the design of the rear of the crossover, as far as we can judge from the photos, will resemble the exterior of the very first model of the brand-a compact SUV Lynk&Co 01, but with a slightly increased dose of aggression.
Will coincide with the cross-coupe "unit" and on the technical side, as it is developed, according to preliminary data, on the same platform CMA (joint creation of geely and Volvo) and will receive the same engines. Starts cross-coupe with the Swedish "turbo-three" volume of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 180 HP, but later can get other options-both more and less powerful, and possibly hybrid.
Sales of Lynk&Co 05 in China's home market are scheduled to begin in the first half of next year. Lynk&Co has not yet announced specific plans to enter the Russian market, but previously mentioned that it is constantly considering such a possibility: it seems that the company is simply waiting for the most favorable moment.
