Italian brand Abarth, owned by Fiat, introduced a special version of the small hot hatch 695. The novelty was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the automaker, founded in 1949.
The main feature of the Abarth 695 70° Anniversario was a large roof spoiler, the shape of which was designed taking into account wind tunnel tests. It can also be adjusted manually to select the optimal position under different conditions.
There are 12 different positions, and the angle varies from 0 to 60 degrees. In the maximum position at a speed of 200 km/h, the spoiler will increase the load on the rear axle of the car to 42 kilograms, and the level of steering adjustment will be reduced by 40%.
An external feature of the hot hatch was the green livery of the 1958 Monza, giving a reference to the first Abarth 500, as well as 17-inch wheels with front four-piston Brembo mechanisms with 305 mm discs. The equipment includes a media system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, as well as an on-Board telemetry measurement system.
Abarth 695 70° Anniversario is equipped with the same 1.4-liter "turbochetverkoy" developing 180 HP and 250 N·m of torque. With the" zero "position of the spoiler, the car is able to gain the first "hundred" in 6.7 seconds, and its maximum speed is 225 km per hour.
