The protracted project of building the flagship all-terrain vehicle of the Genesis brand seems to be nearing the end: the first photos of the serial sample appeared, both outside and inside. And, apparently, the novelty will become the flagship not only of the all-road division, but also of the whole brand.
This hypothesis is connected with the interior images of the future competitor BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. The fact is that, as far as you can judge from the photos, the crossover will be the most "rich" model of the brand in terms of finishing. Its interior is decorated with light leather, natural wood and other premium materials.
Crossover equipped with a characteristic two-spoke wheel with a chrome insert. Curiously, in some photos you can see analog devices, which is not too consistent with the premium status of the GV80. But, according to local press reports, such dashboards will be equipped with only the most affordable modifications of the crossover for the domestic market, while the Genesis brand will send all-terrain vehicles with a full virtual panel for export.
The crossover will receive an advanced multimedia system, and touch screens to control additional functions – in particular, the settings of the climate system. In the photos of the cabin, you can also see the Central tunnel with two round switches: one of them, apparently, will replace the selector of the machine, and the second serves to select the modes of operation of the driving electronics.
According to preliminary data, the engine range of Genesis GV80 will consist of four-and six-cylinder gasoline engines with a return from 300 to 380 HP Promise SUV and diesel V6, which will be able to develop up to 278 HP and 590 Nm of torque.
