A special series, which Ram Trucks are going to run, was called Built To Serve Edition. "Built to serve" truck in this series will receive five different modifications - the number of different branches of the armed forces of the United States, that is, the army, marine corps, air force, Navy and coast guard.
It is claimed that versions of the New RAM truck from this special series will be released alternately every three months, and the first will appear on November 11. The date the manufacturer chose is not accidental: it is not some ordinary Monday, but a very respected holiday in the United States – veterans Day. But what kind of troops from the above will be dedicated to the firstborn, is not specified.
But it is known that in the design of pickups will be actively used the national symbols of the country, and even special Ram 1500 will receive unique body colors and 20-inch wheels and finish of tinted chrome.
In the interior, there will be special areas with fasteners such as "Velcro" – in order that veterans can place their uniform patches on them (it is assumed that the main buyers of the special series will be retired military).
In the Built To Serve series, it is planned to produce only 9 thousand pickups. The firm emphasizes that this project was part of a large-scale social initiative Ram Nation, in which the company supports the volunteer movement.
