RENAULT EXPERIMENT TO SELL CARS OVER THE INTERNET FAILED

One of the original findings of Renault at the start of sales of the acclaimed crossover

One of the original findings of Renault at the start of sales of the acclaimed crossover Arkana was "home delivery": the SUV could be purchased without leaving the dealer. However, this required a 100 percent payment machine online, and just then something went wrong.

Through the Internet you could buy "Arcana" in a special welcome performance Edition One – such released only 300 copies. But to sell with home delivery to the Russian office of Renault managed only two cars.

Perhaps the fact that buyers did not dare to risk a large sum without having to feel the car and look at it live: the price of Renault Arkana in the starting version began with a mark of 1 419 990 rubles. Or maybe the reason is some distrust to transfer large sums of money through the Network, although, as stated in Renault, all conditions were created in the online Cabinet: the manufacturer even realized the possibility of paying for the car in parts for several days from different Bank cards.

Renault said that the experience gained will be studied, analyzed and taken into account when planning the further development of online car trading. It is still unknown whether there are plans to expand the online store.
