From the conveyor came the first copies of the compact hatch Skoda Citigoe iV, which the Czechs themselves call "the perfect city car" and " the beginning of a new era in the history of the company." This firstborn of a fundamentally new line of Skoda should open the way to a bright future for the brand.
And this future, of course, is painted in bright green - but not because green is the trademark color of the Czech brand, but because it symbolizes the ecological purity of the new compact.
A small, 3.6-meter electric car Skoda Citigoe iV is equipped with an electric motor, developing 83 HP and 212 Nm of torque, which rotates the front wheels. The hatch will take 12.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h, but Skoda notes the elasticity of the engine: to accelerate from 60 km/h to 100 km/h, the five-door requires 7.3 s. the 32.2-kilowatt battery provides hatch with a power reserve of 260 km.
In the cabin of a small electric car fit four adult passengers, with the volume of the trunk is only 250 liters. If you leave two people in the cabin, and the backs of the rear seats folded, the Citigo will fit up to 923 liters of Luggage.
From the petrol analogue Skoda Citigoe iV differs, by and large, a special design of the grille and nameplates. The list of equipment available for the five-door includes optional 16-inch wheels with standard 14-inch, led running lights, heated front seats and windshield, a speaker system of 6 speakers, rotary fog lights, rain and light sensors, four airbags and lane keeping system and the like.
Produced Skoda Citigoe iV at the Volkswagen plant in the Slovak capital Bratislava.
