The company has released the first images of its large crossover, which is sold in different markets under the names Teramont and Atlas. Judging by them, the restyling of the SUV will be held in line with the" fit " of its appearance to the exterior of the cross-coupe Atlas Cross Sport.

It is known, for example, that the crossover will get new, thinner headlights on LEDs and a revised grille. In addition, Teramont will receive a more convex front bumper, which is designed to more effectively protect passengers from injury in the event of collisions.

Images of the interior has not yet been published, but, according to preliminary data, the crossover will receive a new, truncated bottom steering wheel, and part of the basic configuration will be a multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen monitor. In addition, promised improved materials finishes and an expanded list of options, which will include, for example, wireless charging for gadgets and new driver's assistants.

The engine range should remain intact: in the US, the crossover will still be equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with a return of 235 HP and 349 Nm or an atmospheric V6 of 3.6 liters, developing 276 HP and 360 Nm. The revamped VW Teramont will debut at the Chicago show next year.
